The Office of Information Technology (OIT), in collaboration with the Office of Academic Affairs and the Library, would like to ask for your participation in a survey on your use of technology at Portland State University. The survey will ask a series of questions on topics like your experience with technology specific to teaching and learning, and your perspective on technology in a variety of learning environments. Your answers will help us to gain a better understanding of faculty viewpoints on technology in relation to teaching and research, and help us to identify areas where we can better serve the PSU community’s technological needs.
Every faculty member who completes the survey for Portland State will also be entered in a drawing to win a $100 or $200 Amazon gift card.
Your answers will benefit your peers at PSU and at institutions worldwide. The EDUCAUSE Center for Analysis and Research (ECAR) has been sending surveys out to students and faculty around the world since 2004 and helps higher education institutions plan for improvements that will keep them competitive not just regionally, but internationally as well. In last year’s student survey, over 50,000 students at 161 institutions in 11 countries took part.
Participation in the survey is completely voluntary, and you can choose to exit the survey at any point. There are no right or wrong answers; just answer as honestly as you can. Your responses will remain anonymous. This survey might take you up to 30 minutes to complete.
