Earlier this summer, the May 2016 reTHINK PSU status report was released.
As noted by Vice Provost for Academic Innovation and Student Success, Sukhwant Jhaj, the projects and initiatives are aligned with PSU’s strategic plan.
He shared the following highlights of the report:
The Flexible Degrees projects are on track. Work recently started on the Online Athletic and Outdoors Certificate, Online Data Analytics Certificate, Online MS in Global Supply Chain Management, and the Online Track in International Studies.
The Academic & Career Advising project team has been hard at work. The team interviewed 81 professional and faculty advisors and conducted a session with students and advisors for feedback.
The Coordinated Service Network project hit a major milestone on June 1 when it launched EAB Campus for advisors.
The Redesign MyPSU project sent a survey to 8,500 students (response rate >1,000) and used Uservoice to crowdsource ideas from students.
Completed projects – The Adult Learners and Flexibility project, led by Johannes De Gruyter, and The Academic Home for Undecided Students project, led by Becki Ingersoll, are both complete. Congratulations to Becki, Johannes and the teams!
We congratulate and thank all the project teams, stakeholders, project managers, faculty, and staff for their hard work on these projects!
