To celebrate our first year of PebblePad at PSU, we are giving away cash prizes and badges for the best and most creative PebblePad ePortfolios on campus! Both PSU faculty and students are eligible to win. And all are welcome to come help us celebrate!
Celebrate with us on May 24
The 2016 PebblePad ePortfolio awards show is happening May 24, 12-2pm, at the Multicultural Student Center at Portland State University. Come cheer on your students, colleagues, and friends and see what PebblePad can do!
Everyone at PSU is welcome and encouraged to come view the award-winning ePortfolios, whether or not they entered one of their own.
Want to enter to win an award?
You can enter to win one of the 2016 PebblePad ePorfolio awards by completing this survey.
- All faculty & students using PebblePad qualify to win an award. Students can submit their own ePortfolio. Faculty can submit their own ePortfolio or use case in a particular course.
- You must have created your ePortfolio using PebblePad at Portland State (but it could have been for any reason).
- You must be willing to share your ePortfolio for judging and then publicly after the competition so we can promote your wonderful creation.
- You must be motivated to win a prize for your work!
Faculty and students each have the opportunity to win in 3 categories, and in addition, every winner gets a hand crafted digital badge to display on their ePortfolio (digital badging is kind of a big deal). There is a total of $900 in prize money to give away!
Best Writing & Reflection (students only)
Have you got a story to tell? They say everyone does, but if you can tell it in a captivating, reflective, integrative and compelling way, you’re on your way to a special prize!
Best Hack (faculty only)
Awarded to the most creative use of a PebblePad feature to help students learn. If you’ve got a creative streak and you know your way around ePortfolio course design, this prize could be yours!
Have you got a little designer in you? If you can show off what PebblePad allows you to do by making your portfolio beautiful, then you could win this prize.
Best in Show
You know what this one is. The grand prize is awarded to the overall best looking, most captivating, creative, and all around awesome ePortfolio at Portland State. The good news? You do NOT have to win any of the other categories to win this prize, but there IS only one faculty and one student winner! Think you’ve got what it takes?
Talk to our support team if you have questions or want to learn more about PebblePad.
Don’t forget: take the survey to enter and save the date to join us on May 24, 12-2pm at the Multicultural Student Center for the awards celebration! We hope to see you there!
